1978 CR 250 HUSQVARNA RESTORATION PROJECT BIKE I BOUGHT THIS BIKE AS A RESTORATION PROJECT IT HAD A REBUILT MOTOR BY DUNCAN RACING IN EL CAJON CALIFORNIA SEVERAL YEARS AGO ZERO TIME ON ENGINE SINCE REBUILD The running motor alone is worth over $500.00 40 MM FORKS FROM 83/84 WR430 WHITE LEG DLS DOUBLE LEADING SHOE FRONT BRAKES GIVES THIS BIKE INCREDIBLE STOPPING POWER - WAY BETTER THAN THE STOCK 1978 BRAKES 1979 CR250 PIPE - A LOT BETTER THAN THE STOCK 1978 pIPE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION NO DINGS DENTS OR ANYTHING. PAINTED MATTE BLACK WITH HI TEMP BLACK sEAT IS FROM A 1978 WR 250 AND IS IN PERFECT CONDITION TANK IS LARGER CAPACITY OR TANK FOR OFFROAD AND HAS BEEN PRIMED WITH SANDABLE /WELDABLE PRIMER. TANK HAS ON VERY SMALL DING IN THE LEFT SIDE PANEL. STOCK BARS IN PERFECT STRAIGHT CONDITION NEW THROTTLE AND PERCH MAGURA CLUTCH LEVER IN GOOD CONDITION MOTOPLAT AND IGNITION IN GREAT SHAPE NEW BLACK FRONT FENDER NEVER USED NEW REAR FENDER BLACK NEVER USED OR MOUNTED CARNUTT REAR SHOCKS IN GREAT CONDITION USED AIRBOX OFF OF A 1978 CR390 VALID / CURRENT / CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE WITH GREEN STICKER GOOD THROUGH JUNE 2008 VALUE OF $147.00 Sprockets are in fair used condition Tires are in poor condition and will need replaced. I reserve the right to end the auction early if bike sells via private sale etc... Bike location : Corona California 92881 Will deliver locally within 100 miles for an additional $75 Revision added 8/2/03: Note: If I have to ship the bike via Forward Air I will charge an additional $75 to take it to the airport or freight terminal to cover my expenses. I have found one small ding in the pipe smaller than the size of a dime and less than .075" in depth. No silencer with bike.This is an ongoing restoration not a complete bike.
